For the past two years, Shane has been the leader for the Commercial & Delivery Management stream, which has been a key area for Corview’s growth, and he has played a lead role in major transactions for Cross River Rail in Queensland and Ausgrid in NSW.
Shane previously held roles as Queensland Deputy Coordinator-General overseeing the $8 billion SEQ Water Grid and chairing City North Infrastructure (CNI), which delivered the $4.8 billion Airport Link project. Most importantly, Shane has significant experience in the management of consulting businesses, having previously successfully led the Flinders Group.
“I am really excited about Shane’s appointment and, with the leadership support of the Board, our State Managers and the great team that we have in place, am very confident that this will drive the next phase of Corview’s growth”, Chairman Luke Franzmann said of the announcement.
“Shane is a trusted and respected industry leader and his experience and industry knowledge will be critical in driving the continued development of the Corview business.”
Shane McDowall thanked the Board and said, “Corview is well positioned to continue our growth on the back of an unprecedented demand for infrastructure on the east coast of Australia. I’m excited to have the opportunity to lead such a professional and diverse group of people”.
